If you are buying a substantial amount, such as a large bar, a tube of coins, or a few hundred grams across both, book a time to come in rather than taking your chances at a busy counter.
Tell us what you are looking for and we will have it set aside and ready. We go through it with you, and test anything you want tested before you decide.

Buying bullion: your questions
Where can I buy gold bars and coins in Leicester?
At the shop, 25 Loseby Ln, Leicester LE1 5DR, in the Lanes. We are open seven days a week: Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday 10:30am to 5pm.
Stock changes as pieces sell, so call or message us first if you are coming for something specific.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Gold and silver prices move throughout the day, so a figure printed here would be out of date within hours. Call or message the shop and we will tell you what a coin or bar costs today.
Can I see a coin or bar before I buy it?
Yes. Everything is bought in person, and you are welcome to look at it properly first. We can test any piece in front of you on our XRF analyser, which reads the metal content in a few seconds without marking it.
I want to buy a larger amount. How does that work?
Book a private appointment. Tell us roughly what you are looking for and we will have it ready, go through it with you at the shop, and test anything you would like tested.
Call before you come in and we will explain how payment works for a larger purchase, so everything is in place on the day.
Do I need ID to buy gold?
We ask every customer for photo identification when buying precious metals. It protects you and it protects us. A passport or driving licence is ideal.
Can you tell me whether I should buy?
No. We can tell you exactly what a coin or bar is, what it contains and what it costs today, but we do not give investment advice. If you want advice on whether gold suits your circumstances, speak to an independent financial adviser.
Will you buy it back from me later?
We buy gold and silver bullion, coins and collections, including pieces that were not bought from us. Bring them in and we will test them and make you an offer on the day, with no obligation.
